Hey everyone!!! Sorry for my unexcused leave of absence! I have some exciting ideas and content coming up and can't wait to share them with you :)
Hey everyone! These past two weekends I have been exploring the city more and more. Last weekend I went to the Met with my roommate, and this weekend I explored the Brooklyn pier. Here are some pictures from the past two weekends!
I loved this old couple in the American Wing!
And here is last weekend! I loved looking at people's doors, decorated for the holidays and fall season.
So I hope everyone has been doing well in school and life! I'm sorry for the absence but college has been eating me alive :/ Ciao everyone and be well!
Hi everyone! Yesterday I went to the Brooklyn Flea Market yesterday with two friends and took some pictures I'd like to share! I went with a friend I had already known from years ago, we ended up losing touch and then meeting up again here at Pratt! Insane right?? She also brought one of her friends with her, and I brought my camera so I could take enough pictures for my photography class this week. I ended up seeing this amazing leather jacket below painted in white. This one vendor had a lot of chatychkes, and I found sex dice and a scorpio patch, but I only ended up buying two stickers from another vendor.
The next two pictures are from this one amazing vendor that had a lot of Middle Eastern things, including these stones, and amazing choker necklaces (which I vowed to come back for this weekend, I just need to buy more art supplies :/). The one of the vendors at this booth saw us staring at this amazing vintage hat, and I wish I could have bought it purely just to have it because it was such a beautiful hat. I regret not taking a picture of it to show you all.
That was about all for my Saturday, how was everybody else's?? I can't believe I've actually written a blogpost this quickly since the last one haha hopefully this becomes a regular thing! Alright, back to homework now (or just watching more Disney movies) hope everybody has a great week this week, ciao!
Hello everyone! Just a general update since I haven't been on in what feels like an eternity. I've been living and starting my first year at Pratt Institute and with that comes a photography class. This week our subject was supposed to be light, but when I went out with friends to go shoot for class and for fun. I love how some of these pictures came out and hope you do too.
Yesterday was such an amazing day and I hope everybody is having a good incoming fall. Caio!
Hello to all you lovely readers! Today I went into NYC with my good friend Erica, and we started off by going to one store in Queens called Sideshow where she got some pieces from an artist she follows and I only bought incense. Then we took the subway back into Brooklyn and wandered around for a place to eat while Erica played around and tested her new camera. We ended up finding a Korean restaurant called Dotory which was absolutely amazing.
We both got some British sodas to drink, I got Sicilian lemonade and she got Raspberry Crush and they were very good. To eat I got a sandwich called Broadway #1, which was Korean BBQ bulgogi beef meatballs and it was amazing, we both took cards from there so we could remember to come back. They also do delivery so if you happen to be in the area I would definitely check that out. Afterwards we just wandered around Williamsburg taking pictures and admiring art.
The artist of the piece above (the one of the children looking up) is by someone called Icy and Sot, in case anyone is interested since there is no tag information.
Today I wore a new shirt from Gypsy Warrior, some ripped jeans from American Eagle and the Lily shoes from Windsor Smith. Also I wore my Marc Jacobs purse and (not pictured) Levis denim jacket and new Scorpio necklace from Gypsy Warrior. Sorry for such a long absence for those who care, I haven't been doing enough interesting things this summer to keep you all posted :p And everyone should go check out Erica's Instagram at eejypeejy, she is a really sick artist and I can't wait for you to see what she does in the future. That's all for now, ciao!
