Hello peeps! I have recently come back from California on a trip to visit a college in L.A and San Francisco. Although both cities were amazing, San Fran was definitely my fav. I went on a beautiful ride through Cali up Rt 101 (at least I'm pretty sure thats what it was) in a nice Mustang convertible, so  if you ever want to fall in love with Cali I highly suggest you do that.
