city state of mind
12:58 PMHey everyone! I've decided to update you on something I should have written about litterally almost 3 weeks ago. Prom came and went, and prom weekend was soon upon me. My best friend and I decided to skip that stereotypical drunken shore prom weekend scene and stay in the Big Apple for our weekend and let me tell you, we had more fun actually remembering our weekend than any of our other friends lol :). We checked into the Hilton Midtown on Saturday, and then proceeded to wander around Manhattan for the rest of the day.
We found the cutest little cafe shop that sold mint lemonades, so of course we had to try them out! There was this little alcove with a waterfall right next to the shop, so we stopped and took pictures.
The next day we went to tea in the morning at Bosie's Tea Parlor. I've only gone to high tea a handful of times with my grandma and this was the best place I've been to. It was cute and quiet, and around Greenwich Village. There was a tea for 2 option that we decided was best. You got to pick 3 sandwiches, 2 macaroons, and your own tea flavor and you got scones and tiny pastries as well.
After that we walked around into Soho and did a little shopping. I got a stripped crop top from American Apparel and some clothes from the Aritzia sale, plus some Vosges chocolate for my mom.
To end the weekend we went to see Ed Sheeran perform at the Barclays Center! I saw him once before in Philly and he opened for One Direction at MSG when my friends and I saw them, so it was nice to see him again after about 3 years lol. He was amazing as always!
That's all for now but hopefully there will be another post tomorrow because my friend and I are hopefully going into the city again to go to the Whitney Museum :) Caio everyone!
